Welcome to the New York State Young Democrats Women's
Caucus web site. The Women's Caucus seeks to encourage young Democratic women to enter the field of politics and government.
The Caucus aims to guide and support women who are interested in developing skills and particpating in networking
opportunities to help prepare them to run for public office and/or support other women with similar interests.
We have worked closely with groups such as The
Eleanor Roosevelt Legacy Project, chaired by former New York State Democratic Committee Chairwoman Judith Hope. We have been
supported by Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton and maintain strong ties to the numerous Women's Caucuses of the Young
Democrats of America.
Our goal is to serve as a resource for current female
Democratic candidates in New York State while at the same time strengthening the, "Pipeline," of young Deomcratic women in
New York State.
